Meet Alexis

Alexis has deep roots in the Baltimore County community – she grew up here and attended Baltimore County Public Schools:  Pine Grove Elementary, Pine Grove Middle School, and Loch Raven Senior High School, class of 1992.   Her connections to Baltimore County mean she is meaningfully invested in the community she serves as Register of Wills.

Alexis’s professional experience makes her uniquely qualified to hold the office of Register of Wills. Alexis began her law career practicing estates and trusts at Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver (now Baker Donelson).  After ten years with Ober, Alexis put her experience to work in public service, representing all of the Registers of Wills and Orphans' Courts across the State of Maryland in the Courts & Judicial Affairs Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General's Office under the leadership of Brian Frosh.  Alexis left the Office of the Attorney General and joined the investment firm, Brown Advisory as a Strategic Advisor.

Alexis is a true Terp, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts, graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park, summa cum laude and receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law as a merit scholar.
